Happy everything!

Hello there,

We all have desires, wishes and hopes... But sometimes we should take a moment and appreciate what we have, the good things and how to turn the less good ones into something better. I have a new card I made, using stamps from Power Poppy and Honey Bee Stamps.

The ''Happy everything'' sentiment is from Reverse Confetti. I absolutely love the card. I used NUVO markers for coloring and you can find them over at Tonic Studios.
For the background I used pattern paper from Prima Marketing. I used to love pattern paper a lot more in the past, but for some reason I forgot to use it and maybe I should incorporate it more often.

If you like today's card and want to keep up with my creations and other updates, feel free to follow my content on Instagram.

Thank you for taking your time to check out my blog. Take care and have a great day!

Blessed

Hi there!

I love veggies and fruits! My nephew and neice not so much...But I'm sure today's card will find a new home soon, because you can't resist to this adorable bear stamp from Create A Smile .

I don't have matching dies for all stamps, so fussy cutting is the way to go. I do regret it sometimes, after I get a nice coloring and then I mess up with the fussy cutting, because you have to be super patient and careful with the cut...

I used NUVO markers for coloring.Tonic Studios has such nice markers and other NUVO goodies for you to try out.

That's all for today! Have a great and creative day!

Happy bird-day

Hello,

I have another CAS card to share with you all. I'm super happy that my previous card had such great feedback on my Instagram. Today's card is less colorful, but I still love it.

I recently bought this beautiful tree die from a crafty store in Cluj Napoca, Romania. Love the bold white with the grey background and the orange bird stamp from Clearly Besotted.
I love creating detailed cards, but for some reason, lately, I prefer CAS a bit more. It's good to experiment and challenge yourself with new techniques and styles.

I hope you like this card and if you do,please come back for more. Have a great day!

Just smile

Hello,

I love a CAS card from time to time.Sometimes they can be a real challenge, because you want to keep it simple, yet I like layers and adding details.

I made a CAS card, using stamps from Whimsy Stamps and Honey Bee Stamps. I also used NUVO markers from Tonic Studios for coloring. I love using markers for stamps like this. When I do no-line coloring, then I prefer using Inktense pencils and a fine brush.

That's all for today! A quick and clean card. Thank you for stopping by! Have a great day!

Hi Lovely!

Hello everyone,

I hope you are doing well. I have a cute and colorful card to share today. We have very dull weather lately and I really miss the feel of warm weather. I hope this card will give you some inspiration to create something fun and cute today.

I used stamps from Altenew, MFT and some older stamps I had in my stash. I love going through my stash of supplies and mix them. At the moment,I'm slowly doing a declutter and I'm making some room for new goodies.

I always share new cards and other updates on my Instagram. If you want to keep up with  my work, then please check out my profile.

I hope you enjoy this cute and quick card. Thank you for stopping by!

Thank you!

Hello everyone,

Guess who's back with a new card? ME! I don't really have or use stencils so much, but for today's card I used a beautiful floral stencil I got from Berlin, last year.
So pretty! Love the design!

I used NUVO ink pads from Tonic Studios over the stencil, but I think this would also look very nice with some colorful texture paste .
Another item in my stash that I rarely use is the embssing powder. For this card I used some WOW embossing powder in white along with the stamps and matching dies from Gina K,

I love the result. Super simple and easy card. As always,if you enjoy the cards on my blog, please go over on my Instagram for more cards and updates.
Thank you for stopping by!

Smile

Hello,

''There's always a reason to smile''. Such a beautiful saying, that goes perfectly with today's card. I used stamps from Reverse Confetti and matching dies,as the focal point for the card
For the background I used washi tape from my stash and did a light blue ink blending. So pretty!

For stamped images like this, I like to use NUVO markers from Tonic Studios. They blend really nice.
This card could be a mother's day card, birthday card, sympathy card, etc...

I hope you like today's creation. As always, feel free to ask any questions in the comments below, or via my e-mail.
Thanks for stopping by!

Let's snuggle

Hello everyone,

I hope you are having a wonderful day! I'm back today with a new card I made, using stamps from Studio Katia called Foxes.

I love coloring, stamping and die cutting. I still love to use older supplies from my stash. Some of them are probably 5 years old and they still work really well.
I think that before getting new supplies, make sure you really NEED them, instead of getting them, because they are cute.

I hope you enjoy today's card. If you want to keep up with more updates from me,then you can find me on Instagram.
I will be back with another creation very soon.Keep an eye on my blog! Thanks for stopping by!

Friendship

Hello,

I love both, stamping and coloring stamped images. But sometimes you can create really beautiful cards, using stamps and colorful ink pads. I love spring and the stamps from Right at Home are just perfect to create that simple spring feel.

I like quotes / sentiments like this one from Whimsy Stamps. We all know how busy the adult life can be and sometimes we don't have time for our friends. So why not send a card / give a card like this and remind them how important they are to you?

I hope you like this clean and simple spring card.If you want to see more, please keep an eye on my blog.
Take care and have a wonderful day!

Happy Birthday

Hello there,

I think we can finally say goodbye to winter and welcome spring. I love this season and I can't wait to see the fresh grass growing and the beautiful flowers. Because I'm excited for this fresh air, I thought it was the perfect time to create a fresh birthday card, using the beautiful flower stamps from Altenew.

This is still one of my favorite sets from Altenew and for coloring,I used the NUVO markers from Tonic Studios. I don't have matching dies for these stamps, but with a good pair of scissors and patience, you can get pretty good results.

Thanks for stopping by today. Feel free to check the previous posts, for more inspiration and if you have any questions, please let me know in the comments below or send an e-mail.
Have a great day!

Wonderful day

Hello everyone,

I hope you are doing well. It's time to share a new card. I like pretty much all animals, but I don't really get along with the cats.Yet, some of them are so adorable, like this cute stamp from Whimsy Stamps. If you are into reading and cats or someone dear to you is into that, then you should add this stamp to your stash.

I used NUVO markers and NUVO ink to colour the kitty and the background. The NUVO products from Tonic Studios are just wonderful!
I hope you like today's card and if you do, please keep an eye on my Instagram for more inspiration and updates.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Keep the crafty stash clean, organized and practical.

Hello there,

Having a hobby is so much fun,but it also means an invesment of money and space. Nearly 10 years ago, when I first got started,I had no idea how expensive this hobby will be. There are so many products on the market, but do you really need them all? No!

Because I had no idea about the large community and the different styles of crafting, I wanted to try them all. And so I started with cardmaking, papercrafts, sewing, mixed media and so on. Of course slowly I was interested in all those supplies and I wanted to try them out.But when do you stop?
Once you find your own style, in my case at this point is cardmaking, you will notice the exact supplies you need and use the most.

You will reach for the same pair of scissors, markers, glue and so on.So,you don't need to have extras if you hardly ever use them.

Having a small corner in my bedroom is very tricky, but I also feel lucky, because the small space makes realise the limit of the supplies I can keep.

Here is a quick list of the supplies I have, that I hardly ever use :

  • pattern paper
  • washi tape
  • ribbon
  • mixed media mediums
  • colorful embossing powder
  • glitter
  • different embellishments
I keep these still, because I want to use them. If I don't use it in the next 6 months, then I will get rid of them .

I store my supplies  in boxes and drawers. That means I have a box for dies, a box for glitter, a box for ribbon and so on. Once it gets full, it means that I have to get rid of some to make space for the new ones. I often go back and declutter my boxes and drawers, not because it got full, but because I really don't see the point to keep things I hardly use or never used. I prefer to give it away or sell it if is in a great condition.

Even if you do this as your job, you still have to declutter your stash. Not only because you will run out of space, but because you will have to keep up with what's new on the market and most likely the old ones will not be as popular or you will even forget that you have them.
Once you find a product you like and you notice that you use it a lot,it means the other ones need a new home or throw them away.

Don't get attached to materials that will deteriorate.

The supplies you need to get rid of :

  • stamps that are no longer in good quality / retired stamps
  • tools that are no longer practical
  • different types of glue
  • dry ink pads and markers
  • scraps of paper
  • embellishments
  • dies and embossing folders that are not good quality or never used
  • duplicates
  • the ones you have for years or longer than 6 months and never used

How to organize your supplies:

If you have your own crafty space, then organize your supplies so you can easily see them and have easy access.Because I keep mine in boxes and drawers, I have labels for everything, so I know where everything is and what exactly keep in those boxes.

I store my dies based on the theme, not brand : holidays, nature, decorative, basic shapes,etc... If you find it easier to declutter your stash, then you can set a number of how many you want to keep. Maybe you have 10 sets of flower stamps, but you like or use only 7. I'm sure you can still cut down on those and end up with 5 sets of stamps you actually really love and make sure you use them.

Organize your supplies,by colors, theme, brand ,shape, texture.etc..See what works the best for you. Also, try to stay away from those big sales and releases. Buy only if you really don't have anything similar in your stash and you really want it,because it's practical and not just cute!

Remember, when you buy a new thing, you have to get rid of another one. You can always go back and see what you really don't like or use. I often find it easier,if I can't decide now,but I want to get rid of something, I go back to the same box or drawer few weeks later and it is much easier to take the final decision.

Hope you find this post helpful and if you have ideas, please leave a comment below.

Thank you for stopping by!
Have a lovely and creative day!

Thank you!

Hi there,

Bunnies and more bunnies! I'm so happy with today's card. A CAS one,but I really enjoyed coloring the little bunny from MFT. Again a no-line coloring one, because the stamp is pretty small and I wanted to add my stripes and I find it impossible doing that with markers. So instead, I used my Inktense pencils.

The ''Thank you '' stamp is from Right at home. I just love their designs. Really adorable style and I hope to add some more of their stamps to my stash.
I keep my stash of supplies pretty small, because I want to keep the supplies I really use and make sure I use them as often as I can, instead of using them once and then forget about them in a box or drawer.

I hope you enjoy the cards so far and if you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you come again for other creations. Have a great day!

Sending smiles

Hello,

I have a new card to share today. I have so much pattern paper, but I hardly get to use it. I used a nice and simple polka dot paper for my background and some beautiful flower stamps from Altenew,to create a quick and simple sympathy card.

Most of my stamps don't have matching dies and fussy cutting can be super simple for many stamped images, like these beautiful flowers.
I love this simple sentiment from Whimsy Stamps. They have so many beautiful designs and I still love using them.

If you want to see other cards and updates, then check out my Instagram. Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great day!

Best Wishes

Hello there,

I'm happy to finally be able to share the first card of 2019. I still love making galaxy inspired backgrounds and I think it goes really well with this cute digi stamp from 2 Cute Ink. I did a quick no-line coloring, because as you know, I love this technique.

I love my Inktense pencils! I try to use the alcohol markers more often, but I always go back to the Inktense pencils, for the no-line coloring. I will buy some nice colored pencils at some point, because the result is different. But I don't know yet which brand is the best.I have a few,but I'm not happy with the quality so far.

I hope you like today's card and you get inspired to create some galaxy backgrounds.
'till next time, stay safe and have a great day!

Hello 2019 / update

Hello everyone ,

I hope you have a good start in 2019 and that everything will work well in 2019 for you and your loved ones.

I don't have a card for today, but an update. If you follow my blog then you probably know that I love creating things and that to me this is like a hobby or part time job.I've been doing this for years and I still enjoy it,but I had to take some decisions, due some personal change. I do most of my work in advance, but with the new change, I won't have deadlines. I will create content for my blog when I get the chance. This also means, that at this point I'm not part of any design teams / company collab and I don't plan to join any. However, if I get the opportunity to be a guest designer for a brand, then I will let you know, but for now, I will keep papercrafting as a hobby only.

These are the cards I made in advance and they will go up on my blog and Instagram. 2018 was a good year, but challenging. I don't have the best immune system and getting sick is no fun. But I hope to feel better in 2019 and to have more energy for new exciting things.

After 14+ years of using the internet, I  will also cut down the time I spend on it,because I want to focus on the '' real life'' .However, you can keep up with my creations and other updates on my blog and Instagram. And yes,I'm no longer on Facebook.

I would like to thank you for being here, for showing your support. It means a lot and it gives that kick to continue creating and sharing my content with you all. If you have questions, feel free to contact me .

Thank you for stopping by! Have a great day!
