Ruffled sleeves + U P D A T E

First of all, I would like to say that I'm doing ok. As you know, the world is going through some rough challenges and I'm following the rules to keep myself safe and the ones around me. I spent the last 4 weeks at home and I will continue doing it,because my country is on lockdown. We have very strict rules and we can't do anything about it. Just wait...

I try to keep myself busy in a creative way and sewing is helping these days. I'm self taught seamstress and I like trying new things. I recently tried doing some embroidery...NOT BAD! But I need extra patience for that.

I also made some aprons for my neice Sofia and for my sister in law. But I'm super proud with my latest creation...

For this I used a men's shirt to create a new style. I love the look of ruffled sleeves and this shirt is just perfect for this project. I changed the design of the collar, trimmed the sleeves, added the ruffled edge and adjusted the length of the shirt. I love the result and I can't wait to wear it! I miss walking and enjoying pretty views!

I hope you enjoy today's post. Take care and hope to ''see you '' next time with better news. Hugs!

For the first time, I don't really know what to say... A hectic start with so many challenges and it's only the end of march.

If you are reading this,I hope you are safe and you find the strength to get through this rough time.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Goodbye 2019....

What  a challenging year! Time just flies and I must admit...This year was a roller coaster of emotions, decisions and changes. I've learned a lot this year about myself and many other things. It's ok to say ''NO'' and it's OK to be yourself!

I love crafting and creating things.I had the great opportunity to meet and collab with amazing people for the past 10 years. I'm doing this hobby for myself, but as blogger I get to see  the pretty and not so pretty side of social media. Not everyone is your friend and not everyone is really kind or supportive.

I would like to thank you for taking your time to check out my posts here or on my IG. Your support and feedback it means a lot. It's not about the likes or followers. It's about the kind words and constructive criticism that helps me or other blogger to grow.

I don't have a bucket list for 2020.But all I want is better health and quality time. I wish you all a wonderful holiday time with your loved ones! Hope 2020 to be a good and creative year!

 With love,
Maria Sabina
