Happy Birthday & a note

 

Hope today’s post finds you in good spirits!

The last month of summer is still going strong, and I’m already thinking about the cooler season ahead—this heatwave is really a challenge for me. I may be a summer baby, but the heat really isn’t my thing!

Today’s card is a cute and cheerful one. I absolutely love a funny and adorable birthday card, especially when it has a good sense of humor. That said, I also appreciate a beautiful, elegant, and classy style. My partner always has a hard time choosing the right one for our special occasions—and honestly, I don’t blame him!
But I’m sure a card like the one I made today would make anyone smile. I mean, just look at those mini party hats—so much cuteness!

 

On a more reflective note, my cardmaking and papercrafting journey started back in 2009. Like any long-time passion, it’s had its share of challenges and changes. Over the years, I’ve seen many talented crafters I admire, and even some beloved big companies, close down or shift in a different direction for various reasons. It makes me a little sad that the community isn’t quite what it used to be.
But I think that’s just how things go—everything has its time, some journeys end earlier than others. Still, I’ll continue creating for as long as my heart is in it.
