New Year!

Hello blogcreatures,

It's been a wonderful year. I've reached my goals and I am ready for a new chapter. My life has ups and downs but everything will be allright. I am happy with what I have and who I am. I try to show and express my thanks to each and one of you as often as I can. I appreciate your sweet e-mails, comments , little gifts , messages ,simply everything. Thank you for taking your time to read, share, love my work. It means so much to me. I met amazing ,special and funny people.  Thanks for subscribing to my youtube channel. Thanks for being part of FB page. Thanks for being here. You all make me feel better. I can not wait to share my ideas and projects again and again and again...

I know, I said I will take a short break but here is one last card before the year ends. I really love it! I thought it's time to make some ''serious'' cards for mother's day ( March the 8th) and soon some Valentine's day cards.

I used a photoshop brush from stockgraphicdesign called Flower pack . For colouring I used inktense pencils.

Here's my nephew. He's always around my desk when I craft.

Today I'm hosting the new challenge over at Stampotique Designer's Challenge. The challenge for you is: Handmade oranment.  Christmas is right around the corner. Are you ready for Santa? Create an ornament for your Christmas tree, front door or for a special present. How do you like Christmas this year? Traditional or modern?

For this challenge I made a handmade leaf out of felt  and wire.  I also used some shrink plastic with Child stamp from Stampotique. The sentiment is from  Keep Calm stamp also from Stampotique.

It's snowing in my hometown! BRRRRRR I don't want snow! Today  I have two posts in one. We have two new challenges over at Stampotique Designer's Challenge and Stampotique Originals. 

The first challenge is : Sentiment , hosted by Gez.

Hi Gez here, with a brand NEW challenge for you this week and I would like you ALL to get sentimental! I love to add sentiments to my artwork whether I am cardmaking or art journaling. To me a simple sentiment can say it all.

Stampotique Originals have a lovely selection of sentiments to suit all occasions and tastes and as you would expect from Stampotique some out of the norm sentiments too!

So, it's time to get creative and share your favourite sentiments with us.

Here is my creation for this challenge. 

For my journaling page I used two stamps : Memory is the diary we all carry about with us  and  Baby Cthulhu by Stampotique .

Christmas Neighborhood

It's Monday! The weather is still ugly and I am so sleepy. I have a new project for you today. For this Christmas I want to create a small town so I made some houses for that. They are boxes. You can put goodies inside and give them away but I will keep them for myself.

I am sorry for not being around too much but I've been a bit busy and I had some problems with my blogspot. However , I am back and ready to share the new project with you all. If you read my blog then you know how much I love Olive Rose stamp from Stampotique.

Today Libby is our hostess over at Stampotique Designer's Challenge.  

"Ever since I can remember I've been inspired by my Gramma Betty. She is an amazing artist. I grew up watching her paint sets for our local community theater group she co-founded, painting make-up onto the faces of the actors, painting beautiful paintings with her oils and painting gorgeous cheeseboxes with her acrylics. With a paintbrush in her hand, there's nothing she can't do!

I chose the theme for this week's challenge in honor of my amazing grandmother. She can paint with any medium, and so can you - acrylics, watercolors, daubers, whatever your little heart desires. Just use same sort of PAINT on your project this week!"

''Life is beautiful''. Well that's true! It's beautiful when we are happy and everything works  well, right? Some of you asked about the previous background I made for SDC background challenge. Here is a new creation using the same supplies but with a different twist.

For this background I used distress ink, food coloring, water, copics, promakers, black marker,stamps and some random things such as bubble wrap and twine.
